True North Networks’ Off-site Business Continuance Service Plan
(OBCSP) offers our customers a quick return to productive work and
customer service if unforeseeable events should compromise your IT
infrastructure. OBCSP couples our RemoteWorkplace service with your data
running on replacement server hardware at our co-location data center.
If the need arises, True North Networks will use your data backups to
build servers for you, place them on the Internet, and provide the means
for you, your users, your clients, and your business partners to keep
working while the compromised infrastructure is repaired or replaced.
This is a temporary solution designed to keep your business operational
in the event of a disaster and will be kept in place until conditions
permit the resumption of normal business activities.
Components
Dedicated servers that closely match the customer’s production server
platforms.
Full secure remote access to customer’s restored server environment
(data and all necessary business applications) Storage
of encrypted, software-based images of each server’s disk drive(s).
Regular data backups provided by a subscription-based off-site backup
service, or by the customer’s external disk-based backups.
